dimsim3478 07.01.14	eh i just think that everything on Adults is a) too safe and b) don't reach the emotional heights of BtMI's best stuff. like not everything has to spill its guts with big singalongs the way Syke does or get really fucking crazy like Side Projects and that's why Adults is still such a fucking fantastic record but when you're looking for those truly TRANSCENDENT moments on BtMI's discog i gotta go with the ones that just go that extra mile y'know?

deathschool 07.01.14	Adults is pretty fucking emotional for me, man. All Ages Shows especially rips my heart out. I could see how you would say it's their safest release because it is in a lot of ways, but I also think it is the release with the clearest intent and overall execution of what it wants to do. It's funny though, because it seems like Adults is the release that fewest people know about when it sounds as if they intended it to be quite the opposite.
dimsim3478 07.01.14	@rowan alright yes that is true i don't know what i was thinking (my comment was very stupid yes) but i'm just gonna say that i prefer songs like Syke and Hurricane Waves that keep building to the end over All Ages Shows which just kind of starts out building up and then has all this mad climaxing in the middle and then gets low again and just kind of fizzles out i'm gonna blame a lot of Adults' impact on me on the production; it's a little raw and doesn't let the sound meld together as well as it could. i have heard the remaster and like it a lot but periodic listens on Spotify do nothing for me when i usually don't have a computer to use the program.
