04.20.14 | It's been almost 10 years since I've been there, but yeah, it is awesome and huge. If you are into sushi check out the ichi + ni bar in the mission. It is one of the best sushi restaurants in the U.S. (for real, they are on all sorts of lists) and also is owned and ran by my sister and brother-in-law. |

04.20.14 | I go to amoeba all the time. It's great. Looking at your taste in music, you might also want to check out Origami Vinyl and Lollipop Records when you visit LA. Both are in Echo Park which is about a 10 minute drive from Amoeba if there's no traffic. |
fallenbird
04.20.14 | Amoeba rocks |
lou1000
04.20.14 | @Athom, yeah I'll check those out too. Good to hear the positive feedback on Amoeba, looking forward to visiting now |
YoYoMancuso
04.20.14 | Heard it has an incredible selection and horrible employees |

04.20.14 | I go to Amoeba LA pretty often and they rule. Amazing selection and great deals. |
Brostep
04.20.14 | only been to the one in sf but it rules so fucking hard |
SharkTooth
04.20.14 | where do you live usually? Just curious |
YoYoMancuso
04.20.14 | everyone should go to Dusty Groove in Chicago if they get the chance. Their selection is limited to a few genres (jazz, hip-hop, neo/soul, psychedelic) but it's the coolest place to just hang out in |
lou1000
04.20.14 | @SharkTooth if you were referring to me, in the UK near Cambridge but not too far from London (40mins approx) |

04.20.14 | Madeleine off 1 is amazing, can't believe I hadn't heard of them until this year |
lou1000
04.21.14 | Do they sell any power electronic (Kleistwahr, Grim, Atrax Morgue) trying to get some more from that area |
Athom
04.21.14 | Amoeba doesn't sell Power Electronics stuff, but Vacation Vinyl in Silver Lake does. |
lou1000
04.21.14 | Ok may check that out too, cheers |
lou1000
04.21.14 | Btw if anyone's been to both which Ameoba is bigger/better LA or San Francisco, I'll probably only visit one |
NakedSnake
04.21.14 | I was there 2 years ago. It's pretty nice, they've got some cool obscure stuff. I'd say their prices are bit high though, but. |
lou1000
04.23.14 | Will 8 be there considering it's pretty much only available on Bandcamp |
