Warning

The first sign of Green Day maturing is perhaps their most
underrated album. For the first time the group was touching on
political subjects and
with a happier more uplifting tone then earlier albums. This
album is highlighted by songs like "Minority" "Warning" and
"Misery"
4Green Day
American Idiot

American Idiot was Green Day coming back with a vengeance,
this amazing
album shattered every expectation people had for the band.
This rock opera not
only made you rethink why Green Day was you favorite band
(in a good way)
but showed Green Day wasn't ready to call it quits yet and with
songs such as
"Jesus of Suburbia", "American Idiot" and "Boulevard of Broken
Dreams" could
you really argue?
3Green Day
Kerplunk

Before Green Day was a household name they were
underground punk rockers
trying to build a following and that is exactly what they did
when
they put out Kerplunk. The large demand for this record by fans
is what actually
drove Green Day to a major label. It includes highlights
"Welcome to Paradise", "Who Wrote Holden Caulfield" and "My
Generation"
2Green Day
Insomniac

After the huge success of Dookie, Green Day caught Nirvana
syndrome and
decided to make an album darker and harder then their
previous
success. This led to the masterpiece that is Insomniac this
drug induced album
is highlighted by harder more serious songs than found on
Dookie like "Geek Stink Breath", Brain Stew, and Stewart and
the Ave
1Green Day
Dookie

Without a doubt their best album, its the album that turned
Green Day into a
household name and made every kid want to start a punk
band.
Although this is also the album where Green Day "Sold Out"
well sell outs or
not this is one hell of an album with highlights such as "Basket
Case", "Longview", and "F.O.D.".
