Call of Duty 5 through Ghosts - This one is obvious. While the games aren't original,
they are at least competently made. Still, it's lack of innovation combined with its

Bioshock Infinite - B:I is guilty of pretty much Call-of-Duty-ing the Bioshock
franchise with linear gameplay, uncreative guns, and the toning down of
vigors/plasmids. The story is a pretentious mess, too. However, the game still

Grand Theft Auto IV - Despite gaining overwhelming amounts of praise from critics,
GTA IV is often seen as one of the lesser installments of the GTA franchise, due to

Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Brawl is guilty of dumbing down the franchise for more
casual players and slowing the overall flow of gameplay from Melee. Aside from the

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess/Skyward Sword - Dumbed down the Zelda
franchise into pitifully linear and pathetically easy games. Motion controls were hit

Super Paper Mario - Took away the turn-based combat system from previous Paper
Mario games and instead opted for a more platforming-oriented style of gameplay.
