Queens of the Stone Age Ranked

I feel like this is a pretty common opinion for fans, but let me know what you all think. I love the top 4 and listened to them hundreds of times. I also saw them live in 2013 and they were amazing!
9Queens of the Stone Age
In Times New Roman...

Their first dud in my opinion, with better production/mixing than Villains but sounding muddled and uninspired to me. No standouts or songs I loved, just a consistently fine rock album from beginning to end.
8Queens of the Stone Age
Era Vulgaris

The band went "robot rock" on this one, obviously far from my favorite style from them, widely considered their weakest release. While all their other albums are better (until Times New Roman), this still has some great songs like Misfit Love, 3's and 7's, Into the Hollow, and Suture Up Your Future. The bonus track, The Fun Machine Took A Shit and Died, is also good for a larf.
7Queens of the Stone Age
Villains

This grew on me since its initial release, being only slightly better than EV. The opener, Fortress, and last 3 songs are my favs. I really like the remnants of the ...Like Clockwork sound that linger here, especially in the middle songs.
6Queens of the Stone Age
Queens of the Stone Age

A fantastic bridge from Kyuss to the Queens of the Stone Age sound. It has a few duds, but there's plenty of strong material that measures up to their following three albums as well, along with containing plenty of attitude for a fun listen.
5Them Crooked Vultures
Them Crooked Vultures

An excellent supergroup release involving Joshe Homme, John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin, and Dave Grohl from Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, and Nirvana. It essentially sounds like a QotSA album to me, and I'm surprised that this isn't more popular given how much personality and attitude it has. There's plenty of great songs that measure up to lots of QotSA material.
4Queens of the Stone Age
Lullabies to Paralyze

This has a wonderfully nocturnal feel to it, sounding like a Halloween album in many places. Lullabies has so much variety and enjoyable, moody rock songwriting from start to finish. Someone's In The Wolf and Long Slow Goodbye are two of the band's best songs.
3Queens of the Stone Age
Rated R

This album has always been pretty bewildering to me, possibly the craziest project Homme has been involved in. There's three entertaining joke songs, one of their most poignant songs, In the Fade, and Chemistry is an amazing mind-bending pseudo-prog rock jam. There's a few annoying parts, but most everything is so interesting and well made, with Oliveri's contributions adding an energetic, anarchistic edge too.
2Queens of the Stone Age
...Like Clockwork

This functions as Joshua Homme's singer-songwriter record in many ways, and it's incredibe. Some complain there's not enough fast or heavy songs on here, but I say who cares. There's no filler or weak tracks here, with I Appear Missing being the best song of 2013.
1Queens of the Stone Age
Songs for the Deaf

What can I say about this that hasn't been said? The drumming is incredible, nearly every song is perfect and many ahead of their time, and radio show skits make for frequent moments of hilarity. This album introduced me to the band way back in early 2013, and remains one of my top favorite modern rock albums.
