| Rec Me Music-related Tech Books
Hear my plea, o'Sputnik! I am currently in the process of writting an essay
in which I have to pick up a scientific book (you know, without sci-fi or any
sort of story, just a technical book), analyze it and then write my own
opinion. I'm looking for a (not very long) book about something related to
music. It'd be awesome if someone can rec me a good read or two. | 1 | | Destrage Are You Kidding Me? No
I'm looking for something about the music business, music production or music
science(how we "feel" music, etc). So far I've found these are kinda interesting: | 2 | | Sikth The Trees Are Dead and Dried Out
"This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession" | 3 | | Entombed Wolverine Blues
"All You Need to Know About the Music Business: Seventh Edition" | 4 | | Mutoid Man Helium Head
But I wanted some more recs. | 5 | | The Haunted Eye of the Storm
Cheers! | |

03.15.14 | Hmm this might not be what you're looking for, but there's a book I did a report on my sophomore year of high school called "Science & Music" and it has a lot to do with - well, the science of music. Lots of things like why it sounds good/bad in the consonant/dissonant sense, the effects of materials and acoustics, etc. It was pretty good and really short.
