Souls At Zero Ranked

Not including Zero. This is probably one of my favorite all time albums and almost all rI do lately is rrNeurosis related stuff so this will fit in fine.
1Neurosis
Souls at Zero

Sterile Vision- One of the most tortured songs I've ever heard. Very dark lyrics and
heavy wall of sound.
2Neurosis
Souls at Zero

To Crawl Under One's Skin- This is perhaps the most epic song on the album next to the
title track and it just goes everywhere. It starts with static and samples of political
statements and then a hypnotizing bass line comes in and just drags you into the song.
The emotive vocals and tortured screams are so amazing and paint such a large portrait
in my mind as well.
3Neurosis
Souls at Zero

Souls at Zero- This was the first Neurosis song I ever heard and it was so mind-blowing
because it had a thick wall of sound, emotive vocals, and amazing musicianship. I really
wish they played it live more.
4Neurosis
Souls at Zero

Stripped- One of the most dissonant songs of the album since it suddenly changes so
often. This one really puts chills up your spine.
5Neurosis
Souls at Zero

Takeahnase- This is a very brooding song that I think would've fit on Enemy of the Sun as
well, but it really builds up into an intense piece.
6Neurosis
Souls at Zero

Flight- This song really takes you on a quick ride since it is the shortest actual song
on the LP. It is also one of the more dissonant, especially during the bridge near the end.
7Neurosis
Souls at Zero

A Chronology for Survival- Even though it's kind of low, this song is still very epic and
brooding. This is probably the definitive track of the album since it does just about
everything. The only gripe I have is that it's not as intense or emotive as the others, still
awesome though.
8Neurosis
Souls at Zero

The Web- This one just doesn't emit nearly as much emotion as the others, but it is still
one hell of a ride.
9Neurosis
Souls at Zero

Empty- Just an album ender, but a very good one at that.
