climactic 03.04.14	havent played seriously in a while, moved into a new house with barely any room for the kit, really want to start up again. got a pretty low-end pearl export kit with dw/pdp hardware and zildjian A custom/sabian hhx's. no strong preference on heads but mostly prefer remos 5Bs all the way most of my skill is in metal... rhythmic stuff, and my speed is pretty good. meshuggah, btbam, protest, etc. rudiments could use a LOT of work fav drummers neil peart, sean reinert, thomas haake, gavin harrison, bryan devendorf, blake richardson, and the obligatory bonham

YoYoMancuso 03.04.14	Gretsch are quality manufacturers and their finishes are spectacular. I prefer both Tama and Ludwig but neither are in my price range. They're kits that are more for lighter stuff like jazz

Spec 03.05.14	Pearl forum series red wine set with all new (better) drum heads. Dw 3000 double bass pedal. HHX evolution crash and crash ride. Some sort of splash, a sabian crash, some pearl hi hat that doesn't sound very good.

SticksmanTheBored 03.05.14	I rock a DW Performance Series. My favorite skins are definately Remo, they sound tight. Cymbals, I'll go with Zildjian. Sticks, I like to use Pro mark, american hickory 7a, but when playing Rock I roll with 5AB Cárter Beauford sticks. I play a lot of different genres, from african music, to soul, jazz, funk, metal, rock, indie and reggae. Some of my fav drummer and biggest influences are Neil Peart, John Bonham, Phil Selway, Buddy Rich, Noah Lennox (Panda Bear), Gavin Harrison, Mike Mangini, Danny Carey, Tony Royster Jr, Dennis Chambers, Dave Grohl, Blake Richardson, Sean Reinhert, Billy Rymer and Carter Beauford.
Spec 03.05.14	Nick Yacyshyn is a master behind the kit. His work with A Textbook Tragedy is ace.
SirDrumsalot 03.05.14	I'm a Tama man for life. I play an 8 piece with various series of Zildjian cymbals, 13 so far. Probably adding two more to make two stackers. The drummers that most influence my playing are on my profile.
BMDrummer 03.05.14	I currently play a tama 4 piece, I took off the other hook tom and have an extra floor tom. I have a K Zildjian 18" Custom Crash, a ZHT 20" Ride, 16" Sabian AAX Dark Crash, and a Paiste 18" China. I also recently took out most of the muffling in my bass drum for a more open sound similar to John Bonham or the Flaming Lips on Clouds Taste Metallic. I also use Vic Firth SD4 Combo Drumsticks. Love my set up. Also, I occasionally pull out my Roto-toms to play like Neil Peart.

Ending 03.05.14	Playing on an electric kit because my best opportunities to play are when everybody else is sleeping so headphones are a must. Playing a Yamaha DTX500 with a Tama Iron Cobra double kick out of a Simmons DA500 amp. I'm so mediocre. My favourite drummer is probably Gene Hoglan. I love playing top 40 hits because they're just so fun to jam along with. I really like playing along to hip-hop and melodeath genre-wise. I never write with drums in at the forefront of my thought process, and I mainly write piano/guitar and then write the drum part last.
TheGooseTavern 03.08.14	I've been drumming for about 1 year and a half. Pearl kit, lots of broken sticks, lots of smashed cymbals, can't afford to replace, but I'm still angry so pieces still come off unfortunately.. was a guitarist for 8 years prior and got a kick in the ass to play because of steve kleisath (strongarm, shai hulud), and jazzy stuff like miles, coltrane, rollins. I'm also into electronic and poppy stuff (grimes, ace of base), that stuff is so much fun to mess around with and go nuts. still havent found a good medium between a 5B and a 787 rock (any pro mark users out there?), so i'm still messed up when it comes to sticks =/ i think i might like drumming more than guitar too. The holy grail influence was rusted root's drum trip, that's the first song I ever consciously remember hearing.
