02.27.14 | no... it doesnt really change up all that much. it turns into generic prog metal for some songs, but stays pretty generic. mainly the vocals and his delivery. its not terrible, but its boring and uninspired - it just seems like they followed everything big bands were doing in the prog deathcore/djenty prog metal genres. so i dunno. max i can give is a 3. its really a weak 2.5 but the production is so damn perfect and you can tell they tried their best to make the songs interesting (hard to explain but you get me). |
