My Favorite 10+ Min. Songs

I got the idea for this list when I was listening to Sun Dies, Blood Moon rfrom Norma Jean's new album. I didn't bother including any Dream Theater rbecause there's so many damn songs to choose from. So yeah tell me any rcolossal songs you know of, I'd love to hear them. These songs are in no rparticular order by the way.

Blackwater Park

"The Drapery Falls"
Blackwater Park was a close second but I had to go with this one since it's such a
beautiful song.
2Mastodon
Leviathan

"Hearts Alive"
Again, The Last Baron and The Czar were close but I had to go with this one.
3Cult of Luna
Somewhere Along the Highway

"Dim"
I fucking love Cult of Luna and I've probably listened to Somewhere Along the
Highway more than any other album I own. I could listen to this song over and over
again for the rest of my life and never get sick of it.

More Constant Than The Gods

"The Usher"
I just discovered this band about a week ago and I can't get enough of them. My
favorite song from their new album is Affliction but its not quite past the 10 Minute
mark.

Marrow Of The Spirit

"Into the Painted Grey"
Marrow definitely isn't my favorite Agalloch album but after watching them play this
song live it became my favorite Agalloch song.

This is one of the longest, loudest, and droniest songs I know but for some reason I
cant stop myself from listening to the entire thing.

Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas...

"Storm"
What can I say? It's simply one of the most beautiful songs of all time.

Metridium Fields

"Metridium Fields"
Another great song that's very repetitive and hypnotic in a good way.

Colors

"White Walls"
One of my favorite album closers
10Neurosis
Through Silver In Blood

"Through Silver In Blood"
The first Neurosis song I ever heard and its still my favorite.
11Mogwai
Young Team

"Mogwai Fear Satan"
Possibly my favorite Post-Rock song of all time.

When I first listened to this Wrongdoers I wasn't really into it until I heard its
incredible closer. Around the second half of the songs they start playing these
really heavy, reverb-filled riffs that reminded me a lot of Sunn0))).

Frances the Mute

"L?Via L?Viaquez"
At 12:21 its still one of the shortest songs on this album. Cedric's vocals are
amazing in this song and its definitely my favorite Mars Volta song.

"Absent/Beta Aquilae"
Even though this song a few seconds less than 10 minutes I felt it just had to be
included. If you've heard the song you can see why.
