| Blue October Ranked
Blue October just announced their tour and I'm hoping to see them for my
third time. I'm a big fan of Justin Furstenfeld's lyricism and the some of the
interesting musical compositions that the band has created. | 8 | | Blue October The Answers
This one isn't really ranked, since I've only listened to a couple of the songs. The
recording lacks the production value of the other LPs.
Recommended: Italian Radio | 7 | | Blue October Sway
I really wish Blue October had stuck with the experimental style of Any Man in
American. Lyrically and musically, this feels like mostly filler.
Recommended: Bleed Out, Things We Do At Night | 6 | | Blue October Approaching Normal
"I want to cover you in ants, bees, and honey, then take a picture for the cover of
our album."
Recommended: Say It, Dirt Room, Jump Rope | 5 | | Blue October Foiled
Foiled has the most popular Blue October songs, and I tend to skip them. There are
some gems here.
Recommended: Congratulations, Overweight, X-Amount of Words, Drilled A Wire
Through My Cheek | 4 | | Blue October Consent to Treatment
This record does great job of capturing the up and down emotions of dealing with
bipolar disorder.
Recommended: James, Breakfast After 10, Angel, Libby I'm Listening | 3 | | Blue October History for Sale
History for Sale is pretty much equal to Consent to Treatment, but this has a couple
songs that I think stand out as Blue October's best. Chameleon Boy might be their
best.

No album makes me laugh and cry like this one. The lyrics center around Justin's
divorce and pure devastation and hatred that he felt during it. Some of the lyrics
are laughable, but a couple of the songs are absolutely heartbreaking. Musically,
this is the most interesting record that the band has produced and it will likely
remain that way.

Too Long, The Getting Over It Part, The Worry List (just listen to the whole album
lol) | 1 | | Blue October Argue With A Tree...
Yes, it's a live album, consisting mostly of songs from The Answers, Consent to
Treatment, and History for Sale. Justin frequently discusses with the audience the
meanings of the songs, and the album feels more like a journey through the band's
early year's than just another live show. I wish they still played these songs live.
