To the person who said Hurt by Johnny Cash; I think the Nine Inch Nails original is even more sad then Cash's rendition. As Trent delivers the line "You are someone else, I am still right here", I am almost positive he begins to cry. The lyrics must have meant so much to him that it was hard for him to sing.
To this list I would add: No Surprises by Radiohead, and definitely How To Disappear Completely by Radiohead as well. Those two and Hope Leaves by Opeth. |
