Hot Water Music Albums Ranked
A ranking of Hot Water Music studio albums from best to worst. Finding the Rhythms will not be included because it's more of a compilation album. |
1 | | Hot Water Music Fuel for the Hate Game
One of the few "5's" I've ever heard. An album where I truly believe each song is incredible. |
2 | | Hot Water Music No Division
"It's Hard to Know" may be the best song HWM has ever written. |
3 | | Hot Water Music Caution
The album that got me into HWM. Jason's bass is buried in the mix or I would've ranked it higher. |
4 | | Hot Water Music A Flight and a Crash
Perhaps the most philosophical HWM album. "Sunday Suit" and "Old Rules" are good examples of this mature tone. |
5 | | Hot Water Music Forever and Counting
"Rest Assured" is "It's Hard to Know"'s competition for best song this band has ever created. This would've been #3 but I feel like the second half of the album isn't as compelling as the first. All the first 5 albums on this list are great though, after this it gets much uglier. |
6 | | Hot Water Music Exister
Has some good songs but lacks urgency at times. I still need to get to know it a little more. |
7 | | Hot Water Music The New What Next
This album doesn't have the passion I expect from a HWM release. Not a strong follow-up to Caution. |
