Some bands I'm into, looking for other bands similar to them. Ya it its a lighter side of metalcore or however you want to classify it, what can I say, I like what I like. | 1 | | Unearth The Oncoming Storm
Solid album, this All That Remains are my favorite on this list. | 2 | | All that Remains The Fall Of Ideals
I've been told its generic, i dont really care, its still good. If this is generic, recomend me more boring bands. The clean vocals is what does it for me. | 3 | | Haste the Day Pressure the Hinges
Ya I know people like their earlier stuff better, I like their old stuff too, but not as much as this album. Again I like the clean vocals mixed with screams | 4 | | A Day To Remember For Those Who Have Heart
Ya its poppy at times, but still since when is being catchy a bad thing. Lets not have a dick measuring contest by who listens to the heaviest music. | 5 | | Demon Hunter The Triptych
See above. | 6 | | The Human Abstract Nocturne
Like the music, the screams just sound like he is yelling to me, kind of like shadows fall. Not my favorite vocalist ever, but decent band. | 7 | | Still Remains Of Love and Lunacy
I also like the Serpent, though not as much as this album. | |
ninjuice
03.28.08 | Killswitch Engage and Heaven Shall Burn. Those are the only two good bands I can recommend.
But for more generic metalcore: It Dies Today, Inhale Exhale, I Killed the Rpm Queen | ninjuice
03.28.08 | whoops that last one was - I Killed the Prom Queen | BallsToTheWall
03.28.08 | Killswitch, Burn In Silence, why the fuck does no one mention them. BURN IN SILENCE you fags, check out Angel maker. 1,2,5, and 7 are good.
1. Heaven Shall Burn, Chimaira, Pantera, God Forbid, Himsa, A Life Once Lost, Meshuggah
2.All That Remains- Soilwork, Blinded Colony, Darkest Hour, Fear My Thoughts, Deadlock
3. Haste The Day- Machinemade God, essentially a German version of HST but really cool and catchy choruses.
7. Still Remains- BURN IN SILENCE, symphonic metalcore with blaring drums, huge choruses and the best metalcore album in recent years.
I love helping people with music, as long as it's metal. | Cuban Pete
