Top 10 Bands
1Guns N' Roses

Great band. experimented with loads of styles and did them all well. great guitar, and great vocals with a great rhythm section aswell. just the perfect band.
2Metallica

Awesome metal band, they first got me into metal. their wide varioety of styles also makes it easy to want to listen to them most of the time. and with some great acoustic songs.
3AC/DC

good old simplistic rock n' roll. great riffs in every song. a bit samey though.
4Trivium

Great modern metal band. with the right amount of screaming and singing in each song. great duel guitaring aswell. with good harmonised bits and amazing solos.
5Machine Head

Heavy as fuck. amazing harmony parts where necessary. amazing shout/singing/screaming by rob flynn. and great guitar where needed but they know when to do it simply aswell.
6Nirvana

good grunge band. it's weird that you cant think of a lot of musically good things say about them. bad singing, out of time, undistinguishable guitar, too much feedback. but i think that this is the perfect example of what grunge is. the drumming is superb though.
7Black Label Society

Zakk Wylde defines this band. burtal and hard hitting solid metal riffs, with soft parts to it. their accoustic work is probably more of my favourite. but their metal songs are great too.
8Iron Maiden

Despite their multiple line-up changes they have manageed to keep their great sound through all their albums...bar 2....great stroy-telling ballads, and great mysticism imagery is created by the lyrics, but with the great guitar solos and general backing to all of it.
9Megadeth

Dave Mustaine
10Sum 41

Great punk band, with a great punk sound...until their most recent album went a bit....emo.
