Friday13th 12.21.13	Pretentious question from a progger: Would you guys say being "ahead of their time" is different than originality? To me it implies being a trend-setter. Example: Magma is definitely original. But what, they influenced like 10 bands? They're at cult status at best.

musicalmedicine 01.18.14	I'd say Talking Heads, Sabbath and Zeppelin as well, although these are pretty generic choices. Talking Heads blended so many genres into one and created music I would believe to be 2000's-post material if I had never heard of it before. Sabbath pushed the boundries of rock music, inventing metal. And Zeppelin were a musical phenomenon, there wasn't anything like them at the time.
