TheGreatQ: Replaying Mass Effect Series

TheGreatQ 12.01.13	Was one of my favourite games but now I'm not so sure.
TAB 12.01.13	mass effect 1 has a solid story but the combat sucks. mass effect 2 has a shit story but the combat rocks. still haven't played the third.

MoosechriS 12.01.13	i've had mass effect 2 sat on a shelf in my house for a couple of years and i don't think i've ever played it.

fr33convict 12.01.13	It's my favorite game of the trilogy (although I'm not a huge fan. my brother's absolute love for the franchise is kind of offputting to me) but yeah it's almost all star trek worship and the AI is horrendous. For whatever reason I still find the game enjoyable, though.

Mongi123 12.01.13	3 was better than 1 but still kinda meh. It was totally playable to the end but it had tons of flaws. Too many wtf do I go moments especially at the citadel and the ending sucked ass. I heard the new ending they released was better though?
TheGreatQ 12.01.13	I still like the atmosphere of the first better than the "darker and edgier" one of 2 and 3
Mongi123 12.01.13	I immediately didn't like 1. Just not my kinda game but 2 was incredible. Such an improvement it's staggering. I've actually been playing through the three main god of war games again fucking love them. Greek mythology is so cool.
TheGreatQ 12.01.13	2 was a great game but the story was horrible. 1 is the only good story IMO. And I've never actually played God of War lol

Mongi123 12.01.13	@TheGreatQ I didn't mind Mass Effect 2's story. Though Shepard has always been one of the least interesting protagonists in video game history imo. @green Good choice. Multiplayer is fantastic but I never play it cause I suck at it. It's so hard. I've prob played the story like a million times though the characters are too great.
