11.08.13 | you should've bought an electric guitar then mate. i've heard acoustic guitars are a lot different
learning experience than electric. though i guess it depends on what all types of music you're looking
to learn |

11.09.13 | awesome man, been playing guitar for 8 years now, and it's completely changed my life for the better! Definitely try some Brand New like you listed, Nirvana is also a great starting point and Alice in Chains as well. Bands like Rise Against and Offspring are pretty fun to play too, and easy to learn |

you could try Jesus by Brand New |
KerfuffleinaHussle
11.09.13 | also i notice modest mouse on your list...isaac has some pretty weird playing styles a lot of the time, but some of their songs are good. Bankrupt on Selling is a good way to get familiar with spicing up your chords with extra notes and stuff, and I think Dramamine was the first lead-type song I learnt.
But when people say there are literally hundreds of songs you can play once you know a few chords, they aren't kidding. |
