I have both his LPs. I never felt too much when listening to those tracks. 9 is pretty, well, bad except for 9 Crimes. It seems melodramatic most of the time. And Lisa Hannigan (80% of Rice' quality) is missing in those. |

Yeah I wasn't a huge fan of 9 either (am a massive fan of O) but those songs just bring the feels for me, basically everyone I know who has listened to Accidental Babies has cried at it at some point haha, but yeah I feel ya |

Well, almost impossible for everyone to feel the same, but I know Accidental Babies is most peoples favourite of 9. But the first verse of 9 Crimes just kills me if it's the right moment and Cheers Darlin' is almost exactly what I feel about a person. The perfect combination of this massive sadness with a little unreasonable rage in the background. |
