This song is the song that initally got me into metal, until this song, i was a rap fan *shudder*. Oh How Foolish i was. Its got a good drive and takes left turns from fast paced metal to melodic passages. Its unique and frankly awesome. | | 2 | Cradle of Filth

The First time i heard of Cradle of Filth was when i picked up a Hit Parader. I don't read it any more, but this band jumped out at me. i found this song online and i blew my mind. It was so dark compared to other songs ive heard and i instantly fell in love with the band. Those who take cheap shots at CoF are so wrong. This song made me pick up the Bass Guitar. I first heard it in the Matrix, adn i asked my brother, "Who is that Band?" I eventually Bought 'The Battle of Los Angeles' and now there one of my favorite bands ever. | | 4 | The Black Dahlia Murder
Funeral Thirst
This song made me mor interested in thrash and death metal. Its hard as hell to play and even harder to sing, but its one of the best Black Dahlia songs ever. And its got a silly video. | | 5 | Dimmu Borgir

This song didnt really 'open doors and change my perspective.' it just introduced me to Dimmu Borgir, and its so amazing. Its probally their best song. | |
