Stuff I Discovered Through Sputnik That Jams Hard

This shit is good, thanks guys.
1Beloved
Failure On

This is super catchy, probably one of the most under-appreciated and approachable
post-hardcore albums going. Shame the band disbanded shortly after and the
members went on to do all kinds of lesser-quality shit, but at least they left us this
pearl. Genre: Post-Hardcore
2Crusades
The Sun is Down and the Night is Riding In

I don't know about the rest of you, but when I listened to this it reminded me of all these
older punk bands that I used to like and made me instantly fall in love again.
Stellar punk album that's pretty easy to listen to too. Genre: Punk
3The End
Elementary

Like the vast majority of this site, I totally dig all this crazy mathcore/metalcore-y
stuff. Well, this shit is probably one of the best albums in this style to my
knowledge. Genre: Mathcore/Metalcore
4 A Bunny's Caravan
Draining Puddles, Retrieving Treasures

I am not explaining why this album is amazing; go listen to it and 5 it. Your new
favourite album. Genre: Post-Rock
5Funeral Diner
The Underdark

Fucking heart-wrenching music for when you're ready to kill yourself but want to
have one last jam; listening to this would be totally appropriate. Also, don't kill yourself. Anyway, insanely fucking good, dudes.
Genre:
Hardcore/Screamo
6The Tallest Man on Earth
The Wild Hunt

I can't remember how I stumbled upon this on here, but I remember YouTubing
this and being blown away, and I don't even usually like this shit. This is for
when you think Bob Dylan is a wanker, but still want to listen to that sort of music. This is also better anyway. Genre: Folk
7Peste Noire
Peste Noire

I'm going to get shit because I didn't include the new Gris (which is awesome too
by the way), but I actually -slightly- prefer this. The distorted French rambling and
the droning guitars just work so fucking well together. Not to mention that is has
accordion and all kind of other weird ass instruments coming in. Bleak as fuck, but
not really. Genre: Black-Metal
8Kauan
Aava Tuulen Maa

It was this or Yndi Halda's Enjoy Eternal Bliss. Fuck it, both are probably some of
the best post-rock albums that I've been introduced to on this site, and probably
some of the best albums going in the genre. Genre: Post-Rock
9Agalloch
The Mantle

Uhm, yeah... I don't think I need to explain this shit. Genre: Post-Metal/Black Metal
10Deadguy
Fixation on a Coworker

I usually get annoyed how when people on this site ask for metalcore
recommendations and all you can read is this: "Botch, Converge, Zoa, Deadguy,
Rorschach" etc etc. Oi, you fucking numbskulls, when someone listens to fucking The Devil Wears
Prada and shit this is not what they have in mind when they say metalcore.
Anyway, this album is sick as shit, must have when you listen to metalcore. ;) Genre: Metalcore/Hardcore
