Split Post-hardcore?

So there's an obvious division within the genre of Post-Hardcore. Some people call it the "good" and "bad" sides. I enjoy both. But the two sides have really drifted, and continue to drift further and further from each other. One group uses a lot more electronic elements such as BMTH, or more "feminine" vocals like Circa Survive. While the other side more like actual hardcore like At the Drive-In or Touche Amore. Should there be a proper splitting? Not Just on Sputnik, but in general should a new term be used to distinguish between these two?

If you were to tell a 12 year old who's in love with Pierce the Veil that this was
post-hardcore, they wouldn't even understand
2At the Drive-In
Relationship of Command

Sempiternal

Virtually incomparable to old/original Post-Hardcore
4Circa Survive
Juturna

Even furthermore, bands such as Circa Survive or Coheed and Cambria are mixing Post-
Hardcore and Progressive, and it's become more and more prevalent.
