10.02.13 | Solid digs. Illinoise is a hard 5.0 for one, and Cave In is one of my favorite bands. think we "met" on plug.dj at one point. either way, welcome! try some Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. goes down smooth as a thorny thistle. |
sacamano
10.02.13 | Sufjan is amazing, agreed! as for Cave In, Jupiter is the only one I've heard. I'm really not that into metal and hardcore music, but the progressive influences on that one make me keep coming back to it over and over. |
osmark86
10.02.13 | try their later albums. they're all over the place in terms of musical influences. Pitch Perfect Black is crazy good and so is White Silence. you'll see what I mean when you listen to them. |
osmark86
10.02.13 | I'm sure you've heard them before, but The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin is another brilliant, brilliant album I'm positive you'll enjoy. |
sacamano
10.02.13 | White Silence sounds promising. thanks! |
osmark86
10.02.13 | first half is more aggressive, the second half more laid back. |

@evilford sadly, I'm not that into extreme metal... |
tempest--
10.02.13 | It's like alt rock, but not all of the album is rocking, idk, just listen to Mojo Pin and if his voice doesn't give you a boner then there's something wrong with your ears, but judging by this list you'll dig it.
And yea, Simpsons is my absolute favourite. |
