KrazyKris
09.29.13 | I know, not everyone's favourite band. Thanks to the mediocre results of...well, anything after Meteora, they aren't mine either. Still, they did some great stuff back in the early 00s. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | Easier To Run is quite an unpopular choice, still, would be in my Top 10 too. Anyway, nothing tops Breaking The Habit. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | Definitely talking to the wrong guy, Breaking The Habit is my all-time favourite song. |
Muisc4Life26
09.29.13 | A Place For My Head is way to low. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | Cure For The Itch and Session are too low to my mind. |
Muisc4Life26
09.29.13 | Rust In Peace is amazing |
DrGonzo1937
09.29.13 | Interesting list, dude. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | No, didn't even know it's from Megadeth 'til I looked it up 30 secs ago, haven't heard any album by them. I'm not too much of a metal fan anyway. |
Muisc4Life26
09.29.13 | @Decayingmajesty- Holy Wars The Punishment Due is my favorite. How about yours? |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | ~Cure For The Itch and Session are too low to my mind.~
I've already seen your LP list. Interestingly only Session from Meteora, but there's almost no instrumental I really like. Only thing that comes to my mind is Metallica's Orion. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | Well, that's okay. I still enjoy Pale, A-Six and Session. Also, nice to see Blackbirds so high. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | Yeah Blackbirds is almost the only thing that keeps A Thousand Suns from being a completely failure. Most of the tracks are skits or repetitive sound experiments. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | That's true. The number of interludes is almost ridiculous. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | Agreed, the sad thing is that The Requiem and Wisdom, Justice And Love really are on the better side although they aren't music. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | ~Hybrid theory= 3
Meoteora= 3.5
MTM= 1.5
ATS= 2~
HT = 3.5
Meteora = 4.5
MTM = 3
ATS = 2 |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | That's just sad. Also in my opinion:
Hybrid Theory - 3.5,
Meteora - 3,
Minutes To Midnight - 2/2.5,
A Thousand Sun - 2,
Living Things - 2.

Nudecorated
09.29.13 | Well, I kinda like Little Things Give You Away, In Pieces, Given Up, No More Sorrow and Wake. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | I doesn't get better the longer I know it, but it definitely helps to have a track like Given Up. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | That's true. Minutes To Midnight would be more enjoyable if QWERTY, Debris Asbestos and Across The Line were on the standard version of album. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | Anything would be better than Hands Held High |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | Agreed. I really dislike Hands Held High, Bleed It Out and In Between. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | MTM is just difficult. I think I overrated it the longest time. But In Between is quite good, especially for a Shinoda-sung track. Nevertheless back then the steady decline of Chester began. He just isn't the same anymore.
Btw what do you think of the new single? |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | Well, that's kinda true. But to be honest, if there must be a song on Minutes To Midnight which features Shinoda as a lead vocalist, I would prefer much more No Roads Left to In Between. And about that new single.... I guess it's too much for me. I would be even happy if they decided to return to MTM sound. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | I think it's quite good. It's a strange and somehow unlikeable mash-up of LP, Skrillex and Pendulum, but somehow it works, especially in the rap-parts. But it surely proofs that they could do well without Chester. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | I am not fond of electronica and dubstep so it's hard to describe that song. Maybe you are right. Chester parts are actually pretty weak. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | When I first heard Lost In The Echo I thought he has returned to form, but on the whole his maybe best and last really great vocal performance was Given Up. He had some moments in later pop-songs too, but he had his peak some time ago. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | Agreed. That scream was interesting. His voice really worked fairly well on slower moments on MTM. And Living Things... I like his vocal perfomance on In My Remains and Lost In The Echo. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | The thing I don't like about In My Remains was that it sounds too similar to What I've Done, but you're right about MTM. In Pieces, Little Things Give You Away or the first part of Valentine's Day were quite strong on his part. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | In My Remains is a nice mid-tempo rocker with catchy vocal hook. Nothing that stands out but still quite enjoyable. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | Pretty much like What I've Done is, but still it's one of just 4 tracks on Living Things I would really call good. |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | If Victimized was longer and better constructed, I would enjoy it a little bit more. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | This thing is a mess. Except for Mikes second verse there's nothing that really sounds good, especially the "chorus" is just noise and not music |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | The second verse is definitely gem of the album. It's their first agressive punk rock song since Given Up. It's just nostalgia. |
KrazyKris
09.29.13 | I'm definitely pro-punk but when it comes to Living Things I prefer electronic pop like Castle Of Glass |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | To be honest, I don't really understand the appeal of Castle of Glass... |
Millstone
09.29.13 | Hybrid Theory is 2.5 |

09.29.13 | just no |
DrGonzo1937
09.29.13 | Living Things is pretty underrated on this site, like. |
Mongi123
09.29.13 | What the fuck is Blackbirds? A Thousands Suns is the one that's underrated on this imo |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | Blackbirds is a bonus track of A Thousand Suns. |
Mongi123
09.29.13 | Oh alright I'll have to check that out |
Nudecorated
09.29.13 | It's was recorded during the Minutes to Midnight recording sessions along with No Roads Left. |
bloc
09.29.13 | Pushing Me Away is the weakest on HT imo. Oddly, the remix is one of the best on Reanimation though. |
BeneaththeDarkOcean
09.29.13 | A Thousand Suns is a masterpiece and LP's best album, but no one here will ever agree with me, so I'll just go hang myself.... |
Mongi123
09.29.13 | Haha well I think it's far from a masterpiece but it's definitely my favorite by them. Then Hybrid Theory. |
NordicMindset
09.30.13 | ATS > HT? haha no
ats is like tool's aenima done wrong. |
NordicMindset
09.30.13 | i mean, you get song, filler, song, filler, song, filler, song, song, filler, filler.
there's even 15 tracks on both, and 9 actual songs. empty spaces is the useful idiot, jornada del muerto is the intermission, fallout would be (-)ions, and all those speeches would be like harry manback/ die eier |
Mongi123
09.30.13 | Yea except I love both those albums. Those "fillers" aren't thrown in there for no reason it's a concept album. |
loveisamixtape
09.30.13 | breaking the habit is one of my least favorite lp songs but meteora is still their best |
NordicMindset
09.30.13 | it's a concept album, but focuses too much on the concept itself |
