AliW1993 09.18.13	I'd kill to see Frightened Rabbit and The National on the same bill. I've seen the former twice this year already (with another in November) though, so I can't really complain.

ILJ 09.19.13	I saw Local Natives and The National at an outdoor venue nearby in June. Local Natives killed it and so did The National. the sound was mixed really well at the one I was at.

avonbarksdale221 09.19.13	Damn, when I sawe them earlier this year they played Modern Leper, Good Arms, Heads Roll Off, My Backwards Walk and Poke, although that was a headlining show. This looks like an amazing gig on paper, sucks that the National were underwhelming though.
NightProwler 09.19.13	"Maybe they would have sounded better in a smaller venue?" That's deffinitely true. I saw them in Copenhagen (Loppen, only 400 people max) a while ago. Amazing concert. Then, I saw them on the Roskilde Festival on Orange Stage. IT just wasn't the same. The intensity wasn't there in the same way, unfortunately. But still, they put on an excellent show, and I'm seeing the National myself this November at another big venue. Hopefully, it'll be good. Frightened Rabbit usually are amazing live. Too bad the vocals weren't good. Still hope you had a great experience!
Iamthe Nightstars 09.19.13	Yeah, I was at that tour too avonbarksdale. And I liked FR, they were fun to watch. But I kind of feel like their singer half asses the vocals live.
avonbarksdale221 09.19.13	They have a lot of energy, but I do remember when they played Head Rolls Off he didn't even bother trying to hit "I beliiiiiiieeeeeeeeve..." note which was disappointing. Despite this, they were still awesomez
AliW1993 09.19.13	They were never going to play much from TMOF in a support slot, since the new record is their major label debut and most accessible yet etc etc. Poke with no mic is one of the best live songs I've ever witnessed.
avonbarksdale221 09.19.13	Exactly. That would have been amazing, some loud, drunk idiots sorta spoiled the song when I saw them, no respect.
AliW1993 09.19.13	Yeah, obviously it only works in relatively small venues, and it's certainly no good for support slots. I've seen them do it twice, and thankfully both were impeccably observed.

avonbarksdale221 09.19.13	I think it's pretty selfish people's enjoyment comes at the expense of others' and completely disrespects the band on stage, but hey, that might just be me.
