Masochist: Sputnik Fantasy Football Teams

Masochist 08.30.13	The Mezz Crew league was the first draft I did this year, and it turned out the worst of all six. The other Sputnik league was better, but I think I invested too much in WR's for a non-PPR league. Anyways...RATE MY TEAMS.

Masochist 08.30.13	The concept of Fantasy Football? Yeah, I'll try. Basically, you have a league of you and some other folks, and you each get a team, and you go around one by one and "draft" people from the NFL for your team. Throughout the year, things that the players do in real life translate to points for your team (catching a pass gets you 1 point, scoring a touchdown gets you 6, etc.), and each week you play someone else's team. Whichever team has the highest point total at the end of the weekend wins that "game." And there are playoffs and a championship based on your record.
DominionMM1 08.30.13	"I don't really understand the concept. Could you explain?" so basically you pick nfl players at certain positions (qb, wr, rb, etc.) and are awarded points based on how those players you chose play each game.

Masochist 08.30.13	I'm not quite happy with that Yahoo! team, just because of some of the other teams in the league. Speaking of which, Klap is in both (the only other person besides me, I think), and he's got a pretty stacked team in both, as well.

Masochist 08.30.13	Nope, both have 10. Maybe it's just that I don't have faith in DeMarco Murray as a #2.

Brostep 08.30.13	Unrelated: you have ASAW on this list, how have you been enjoying the album?
Masochist 08.30.13	Surprisingly more than I thought I would. Definitely his most mainstream-oriented album since 'Emotional Technology', and I definitely like 'These Hopeful Machines' much better, but it's catchy as hell and it's been on heavy rotation since I got it.
Brostep 08.30.13	I definitely agree. Still way too long and doesn't justify its length, and it's nigh-impossible to listen to the whole thing through on one listen, and it's nowhere near These Hopeful Machines, but it's still a solid 2.6/2.7 IMO. Have you heard THM?
Masochist 08.30.13	Oh, yeah, 'These Hopeful Machines' is excellent. A lot more house music, a lot more of BT singing, which is awesome always awesome, and catchier songs that stick with you much longer. "Suddenly" is tied for my all-time most-played song, according to Last.fm.
Brostep 08.30.13	Haha probably about same here. IMO Suddenly, The Emergency, Love Can Kill You, A Million Stars, and Rose of Jericho are all near-perfect songs
Masochist 08.30.13	I'm also a big fan of Catherine Wheel, so hearing the singer on "Always" was a huge treat. And hey, for those not in the convo about BT, how bout my fantasy teams, eh? You'll probably be hearing quite a bit of shit talking from me.

Masochist 08.30.13	Yeah, I know...but in a two-starting-QB league with 10 people, he's #21 (actually, he's much lower, but he was the best one there when I decided to get a third QB).
