Cursive Ranked
Well, as usual, I'm gonna get shit for this. |
| 1 | | cursive happy hollow
It was torture deciding between this and domestica. Happy hollow is a little more consistent and
it's got a sort of experimental edge. The first five songs are pretty hard to beat. The way it sums
itself up at the end.is.pure genius. |
| 2 | | cursive domestica
The guitar interplay is amazing. They pretty much mastered the early cursive sound.on this
record. I know they won't ever sound anything like this again and that's a good and bad thing.
This record is just leaking raw emotion. |
| 3 | | cursive the ugly organ
Guess I'll get flamed for not making this 1. This record definitely got me into cursive at the rip old
age of twelve. It now resembles just the tiniest sliver on the overrated pie. I mean driftwood,
butcher, art is hard, red handed, gentleman caller,l are all classics but sometimes this record
seems like an overbloated EP. Maybe I've just heard it too much. But I think about if gretta stayed
in the band what they could have done. Then again I love happy hallow so what do I know. |
| 4 | | cursive mama, I'm swollen
A little underrated I think. Its got some cursive classics on it. From the hips, caveman, let me up,
what have I done. Still a great album without a bad track on it. |
| 5 | | cursive I am Gemini
Maybe I haven't given this as many listens as I should. Still a pretty great album. I love eulogy of
no name way too much. It's decently varied but seems a little poppy at times. |
| 6 | | cursive burst and bloom
A great EP. Sink to the beat is classic cursive. |
| 7 | | cursive such blinding stars for starving eyes
Alright but doesn't stick out in comparison. |
| 8 | | cursive the storms of early summer: semantics of
I've listened to this about five times and I couldn't tell you a thing about. Completely
unmemorable. |
