ZombicidalMan: Favourite Post-2000 Video Games

ZombicidalMan 07.27.13	I left out some games that I've never played - but probably would've made it - like Okami and Shadow of the Colossus to name two. And yeah there's a lot of fucking great games like Star Wars Battlefront, KOTOR, Red Dead Redemption, Deus Ex, Super Mario Galaxy, Portal, Viewtiful Joe, Starcraft II, Limbo, etc. but I did this off the top of my head. New Tomb Raider might make it into my top games after my next playthrough as well. Two I could've included personally were Age of Mythology for being probably the best RTS ever, and Left 4 Dead, only because it's so fun. Ah well.

Only thing that was a little disappointing was it loses its identity a little towards the end. And the child bits were a pain in the arse, if I remeber rightly.

ZombicidalMan 07.27.13	I always wanted to play the Witcher, just never have. If I find it cheap I'll try it. And yes, plain old Civ 5 isn't as good as Civ 4, but with expansions 5 is much better IMO. Strategy games are a vice because they're the only games that I can play for hours straight, cutting myself off from the world.

ILJ 07.27.13	love that you have Civilization but I think IV is way better than V. IV just feels a lot more detailed in terms of actual running of an empire but I haven't played any of V's expansions. Also IV has some sweet as fuck user mods.

ZombicidalMan 07.27.13	I love Bayonetta, that's a fantastic batshit crazy game. As it's been said, IV is without a doubt better than V, if we're talking stock games. But now there's a huge amount of great mods for V, plus Gods and Kings added some nice stuff, and the latest (Brave New World) has pretty much put it above IV. Lots of interaction with your empire, way more emphasis on specialists, trading, relations, etc. Started a new game of Stalker on Master difficulty today, holy shit. It's a sadomasochist of a game

Ecnalzen 07.27.13	Deus Ex: Human Revolution Radiant Historia Odin Sphere The Xenosaga series Dead Space 1 and 2 Fatal Frame 2 Dragon Quest VIII Alan Wake The ps2/ps3 Ratchet and Clank games Muramasa: The Demon Blade Agree on 1, 6, and 10. Never was too crazy into the Halo games, but they were fun to play in the co op and online stuff for a while.
