06.30.13 | It's not so hard to believe that a parasitic species could take over the body an mind of another for its own gain as it already happens in nature. However, the modern incarnation of zombies usually work in plagues. To have microscopic virus or bacteria have complete and total control over the most intellectually complete and developed species had to believe.
But more than that, the way they behave is absurd. The cop out that "oh they're much stronger than humans because they ignore the humans pain receptors" is one thing. But the fact that they seem to be communicating en masse with one another, without ever actually performing any sort of communication, the fact that they never seem to conflict, and they always seem to 'know' where their targets are are simply ridiculous.
And it really begs the question: why humans?! Why can't there be zombie dogs, zombie ants, and zombie birds? Why do they need human brains or human flesh? They are that much different than a mammals brains or flesh, and yet they are never after them. |

06.30.13 | I really disagree with you Cipieron, but you make some good points. I guess i just fell in love with the overall feeling of it. It it does carry a lot of suspense imo, absolutely loved the movie. But yeah another stupid thing, like after a few days they had declared Brad Pitt (his character lol) dead, they just went for it and dumped his family, just like that. That is not logical at all. And again yea, you make some very good points, like the zombies not eating ill folks. It has little logic its true, but overcoming those "little" incoherences will make anyone enjoy the movie better.
That said, i found it to be pretty darn good, but its a far cry from the 28 (...) Later series. |

06.30.13 | The jump scares were funny and the suspense was nonexistent. The solution to the issue made no sense, and some things like the Doctor tripping were just too stupid to feel serious. I couldn't tell if it was a suspense movie or an action movie, felt like it was lingering between both and doing neither well as a result.
Also, does anybody even remember the name of the soldier woman? I don't even think it was mentioned. |
