But now my Alternative is even fucking bigger (37% instead of 33%), and Post Hardcore has been replaced with Indie Rock. It'll be interesting to see how the pies change over the upcoming week(s) so as we all try and settle on genres.

Prev chart: Death Metal: 45% Metal: 36% Black Metal: 6% All Genres: 4% Thrash: 4% Electronica: 4% New chart: Death Metal: 34% Progressive Metal: 20% Metal: 16% Progressive Rock: 7% Metalcore: 7% Melodic Death Metal: 6% Industrial: 5% Black Metal: 4% I agree about some of the tags being way off, like calling Sybreed metalcore. Staff should really handle these tags better. Or just total haters/dumbasses should refrain from voting. RateYourMusic is a good place to take cues from, their tag system is amazing.
