But if you're talking about the prog genre there is no contest. I love Mike Portnoy but Danny Carey is better in my opinion.
And Joey was one of the guys who got me into drumming, and he still golds up pretty well against the others to this day.
@StarClassicTreatment: Grohl is among the best. He does more with less, and creates really great subtle paterns in songs that add a lot. If you've not heard his work on Songs For The Deaf by QOTSA you must, some of his best work is on there. |
