Why 2007 Is The Best

2007 had some of the best music ever made. Top 6 are some of the rgreatest albums. The other rr3 are just some noteworthy ones that add to 2007 being one of the best years in music.
1The Dear Hunter
Act II: The Meaning of, & All Things Regarding Ms. Leading

Not a bad song on this thing. This album has some of the most euphoric choruses to
listen to. And I mean it when I say euphoric. Not many albums can give me chills in
the way this album does. 5/5
2Coheed and Cambria
No World for Tomorrow

Another fantastic album. Modern prog at its best. The entire first half of this album is perfect. 4.2/5
3Radiohead
In Rainbows

Radiohead took everything good from all of their previous albums and perfected it
here. My personal favorite album from them. It's so easy to listen to and emotional.
Another 5/5
4Porcupine Tree
Fear of a Blank Planet

While I'm not a huge fan of the lyrics on this album, the actual music Steven Wilson
makes on here is fantastic. Not their best album in my opinion, but this is another
modern prog essential. Anesthetize motherfuckers. 4.6/5
5Oceansize
Frames

Post-Rock meets Prog-Rock, and Oceansize does it beautifully. Every song on here
feels like it was crafted and reworked time and time again until it was perfect. Each
song builds and has a satisfying climax. 4.6/5
6Dark Tranquillity
Fiction

Melodic Death-Metal at its best. My Personal favorite DT album. 4.4/5
7Between the Buried and Me
Colors

Some people consider this to be one of the greatest albums of the millennium. While I
don't agree because I'm not a fan of the long sections of just...to much noise. I do
love this album and it's the little things on here like the background noises and the
random interjections of strange things like polka music in a bar that make it so
interesting and unique. 4/5
8 Buckethead
Pepper's Ghost

Buckethead is one of the most talented guitarists ever. He manages to create emotion
in songs without any lyrics, which is not an easy thing to do. This album showcases
some of his best work 4.1/5
9Rush
Snakes & Arrows

Not Their best work, but I think it's a good album that adds to the catalog of what
makes this year so amazing. 3.5/5
