Cygnatti 06.11.13	It's so stupid where people were like "WAH A FAIRY TAHP" when a fairy egg-type already exists. and egg types were already type centric (with a few exceptions) http://www.youtube.com/embed/gmywDbnC5oc -gender unknown: no-type, just pokemon-specific -field: covers mammal pokemon, most normal and ground types, along with many of most of the other types as well. -water 1, 2, and 3: obviously, they're all water type based. water 1 being general see-dwelling pokemon, water 2 being mostly fishy pokemon, water 3 is interestingly has all of the fossil pokemon and covers a lot of the ancients, water or non-water - plant: grass, duh - bug: bug, duh - flying: birds mostly, bats too - dragon: dragon, duh - monster: rather type ambiguous actually - ditto: lakie type (hehe :3) - and fairy type: type ambiguous until now!

Cygnatti 06.11.13	yep, also, it's extremely likely that A - they'll rework the type chart to accommodate this new type and add in some re-balancing as they had in Gen II when Dark and Steel were added. and/or B - Poison will have an advantage over this type. Both are good, but I'd prefer if both happened!
Cygnatti 06.11.13	in type advantage and disadvantage... -weak to poison -either weak or strong against dark -which could suggest a weakness or resistance against fighting (weakness because lol, they're fairies, but resistance because they're magical and shit!) I'm going to guess, they'll resist fighting in the same way psychic does - speaking of which, they'll probably resist psychic (which sucks because psychic already sucks as it is!) because, you know, fairies and magic are illogical or something to that effect. -possibly weak to ghost types -hopefully strong against and/or resist steel types (because steel is fucking broken, dammit. and besides, in rpgs, mages kill armor-clad knights!)

Cygnatti 06.11.13	omfg, why does errybody say light? ain't no way a "light" pokemon are gonna do double to a dragon. and dark is generally a pretty shitty type. since gen 4 on, pursuit has been used widely sure, but I'd hate to be a dark type, for the most part. dark doesn't need to be balanced out, it's pretty much fine as it is. same goes with fighting. I don't see why they did that. if anything, Fairy should have done half to grass because grass sucks, defensively, anyways.

Cygnatti 06.11.13	what's even more stupid about the light type, is that it will be inherently linked to dark type. dark type in general has absolutely no connection to darkness, shadows, or even evil, except dark pulse. dark type pretty much only has to do with dirty, un-respectable fighting (sucker punch, biting, payback). dark doesn't need an antithesis because it already has one: fighting. which represents martial arts, ordered, skillful, and "honorable" fighting. and even if light would be considered, what the hell would it do? have 10 different skills that basically flash a big light or beam of light at the enemy? that's fucking boring. we know it can't be "clean" fighting, considering we already have that. and what about solarbeam? would that be a light type move, or would that be a grass type? and what about the weather? would light benefit from sunny day and not any of the others? because solarbeam and fire already cover that.

Cygnatti 06.11.13	lakes, notice how almost no normal types end up in OU tier. the ability to learn things like flamethrower and thunderbolt for no good reason is fairly shallow considering that like 90% of normal types have special attack as their lowest stat. and for the record, normal types don't normally learn moves from the following: bug, dark, psychic (to some extent), dragon, grass (except some get grass knot), steel, and rock.

Cygnatti 06.11.13	I doubt they'll have too, perry. they have an entire egg group called fairy and so far, every fair type they've introduced (mawile, marill, jiggs) have been a part of this egg group EXCEPT for gardevoir. this egg group also includes pikachu too. it'd be interesting to see if pikachu is now electric/fairy, which isn't a bad type at all. 3 weaknesses, sure, but fuck dragons! I'm also interested in seeing whether or not togekiss will end up being fairy/flying. I def think it should because really any type > normal. I also think altaria, the most useless fully evolved dragon type, should be dragon/fairy. would be sweet as fuck.
