06.05.13 | Andy McKee - Art of Motion
Cloudkicker - Let Yourself Be Huge/Fade
Jizue - Novel
Toe - For Long Tomorrow
Craig D'Andrea - Crazy is Catching
Darren Morbid - Bastion OST
This is all fairly chill/mellow instrumental (for the most part) stuff. I could never really do much music with lyrics when I was studying, so this is the kind of stuff I listened to. |
Ecnalzen
06.05.13 | Forgot to check your ratings, so hopefully you haven't heard any of mine already. |

06.05.13 | that's why I always keep post-rock on hand for whenever I have to study
some good shit from this year has been:
Midas Fall - Wilderness (the best p-r from this year easy, everyone should check)
City of the Lost - At the Edge (a little more heavy, rocky, iirc proggy too)
Enemies - Embark, Embrace (pretty decent, not that bad but easy to study with)
These New Puritans - Field of Reeds
Quadrupede - Quadrupede
Mogwai - Les Revenants might be good, haven't listened to it yet.
Also you can try The Haxan Cloak. Not p-r just really good shit that I can't even describe. A little
bit frightening, one of the best releases of the year.
Jazz is also always a good option imo, so is Classical |
