Went to Brew at the Zoo at the Baltimore Zoo yesterday, which was a
great opportunity to get drunk, then single out and antagonize captive
animals. List is the beers I tried (or, at least, the ones I remember), as well
as recent digs.
Had a lot of these before, but Tell Tale Hearty Ale and Tree Hugger were probably my favorite new
discoveries. Never made it to the Duclaw tent, which is almost as disappointing as the fact that
Heavy Seas just wasn't there. So, of course, I had no choice but to pick up a 6-pack of Riptide
afterwards.
Resurrection and Hopsecutioner are great; I prefer Raging Bitch to Doggie Style, Flying Dog-wise. And Summer Shandy is one of the best light-enough-to-have-all-day-at-a-barbecue fruit-based beers you're likely to find. So long as you like lemonade.
