Understanding Decay

kinda like crystal morning and endless endings combined but more dynamic. also
has Greg's best vocal performance on the album. quintessential TDEP song
2Magic That I Held You Prisoner

title makes no sense. anyway it has the sexiest progression on the album, amazing
vocals, each section flows perfectly in the next. one of their best songs for sure
3When I Lost My Bet

wasnt the biggest fan of this one at first but it grew on me like hell lately. has their
craziest spaz stuff in the middle and the structure is really cool. polyrhythms are
always sexy
4One of Us Is the Killer

probably their best accessible song ever
5The Threat Posed By Nuclear Weapons

about time they ended their album heavy again and fuck they went all out. first
couple minutes is like btbam on coke (come at me aids) and by that i mean it
changes every 10 seconds but in the best way possible. i especially love the thrash
bits and the meshuggah part. second half is just as good and has one of their
heaviest outros ever. awesome song
6Nothing's Funny

great beat and the chorus is really nice. BUT NOW I SEEEE THAT THE JOKES ON
MEEEE AAAND NOTHINGS EVER FUUUN AAAND NOTHINGS FUNNY!
7Crossburner

biggest grower for me. this ones cool cause instead of starting techy and ending
melodic they start off slow and build up to the insane heavy shit at the end.
probably the most experimental of their heavy songs and that gives it points
8Prancer

heavy as shit and has dat breakdown. amazing vocals too
9Paranoia Sheilds

only song where Greg's vocals almost get on my nerves. really nice melodies
though and that jazz break is sexy
10Hero of the Soviet

one of the heaviest. kinda standard for them
