Marvel Phase One+Rise Against Ranked

With the release of Iron Man 3, Marvel's "Phase II" has gotten off to a solid rstart. The films continue to get the right directors, cast and overall rtreatment/execution, and here's my take on what we have so far.
6Rise Against
Endgame

Thor - Possibly the best overall cast, and definitely a good film, but holy SHIT do
the constant Dutch angles annoy my inner film critic/buff/student. Wtf Branagh?
ALBUM - Solid, but fails to bring anything new or particularly memorable to the
table.
5Rise Against
The Unraveling

Iron Man 2 - Consensus states this should be at the bottom, but I still enjoy it quite
a bit despite the obvious flaws (underdeveloped Hammer and Whiplash characters,
somewhat convoluted plot).
ALBUM - A solid debut hinting at potential later revealed.
4Rise Against
Appeal to Reason

The Incredible Hulk - Somewhat underrated. Norton is is much better than Bana,
but conversely Connelly is better than Tyler in every way. Besides that, an
excellent reboot/semi-sequel with both subtle and obvious nods to other parts of
the universe.
ALBUM - To a large degree, Suffering? Part 2. Considering how good that album is
though, it's not such a bad thing.
3Rise Against
Siren Song of the Counter Culture

Captain America - Solid casting again, and perhaps some of the stronger
connections to the other films. Isn't overly serious at all, and as the RT consensus
states: "A pleasantly retro vibe".
ALBUM - Rise Against get a bit catchier and explore their "softer side".
2Rise Against
Revolutions Per Minute

Iron Man - Landmark not solely because it started it all, but because it was the best
for quite a while. RDJ is perfectly cast such that he seemingly hardly has to act at
all, the plot is sound, and there's a decent twist (unless you speak Urdu, that is).
Not to mention the first appearance of Nick Fury and mention of The Avengers,
provoking girly squeals of excitement from comic book fans.
ALBUM - More polished but still raw sophomore album, this time with more
developed songs and a helping of anthemic choruses.
1Rise Against
The Sufferer and the Witness

The Avengers - Five films worth of backstory and characters comes together for
the first and best big summer movie last year. The plot might be a tad thin
compared to the others, but it's FAR from just a reason to have fantastic action
scenes, and the character interaction is exactly what it should be.
ALBUM - The perfect balance of catchiness and raw passion, cohesive, and
featuring (one of) the best ballads by a punk band I've ever heard.
