Highway To Hell's filler songs: Love Hungry Man, Beating Around The Bush, Get It Hot Back In Black filler tracks: What Do You Do For Money Honey, Let Me Put My Love Into You, Shake A Leg, Given The Dog A Bone and if you want to be honest, Have A Drink On Me and Rock'n'Roll Ain't Noise Pollution, although mileage may vary (I like Drink). That's three fillers in 12 tracks versus six fillers in ten tracks. Which one is the classic again?

I just can't say "this song sounds like this group" or whatever, which is why I don't review them

Turbo Those are the ones I've listened to. @tommy AC/DC have SIMILAR songs, not songs with the EXACT SAME riff. @Visceral I actually own 10.000 Days and will listen to it at some point. I also don't dislike Opeth's early/DM stuff, I just don't see what all the worship is about. Good band, not pinnacle of music. Same for Reign In Blood (which metalheads say is the Holy Grail of music) and Dark Side (which music critics say is the pinnacle of music). Reign In Blood iI find paper-thin and painfully one-dimensional, and you all know about me and Dark Side by now. Apparently it's my problem not everyone else's, but there you go.

ReturnToRock 04.24.13	Steel and SFV are tied, to be honest. Steel has Breaking The Law, Living After Midnight, Metal Gods, United and to an extent Rapid Fire. SFV has Electric Eye, title track, Riding On The Wind, You've Got Another Thing Comin'. Both have really cheesy stuff though ("take these CHAINS OFF!"). From Stained my fav's are Evening Star (cheesy but awesome) and of course Hell Bent For Leather.

Also, I'd qualify at least Mr. Bungle & Jesus as bands no one I know in real life will have heard of. At least those two. I could mention Tomahawk, Fantomas, Bauhaus, Nomeansno, Rachel's, Do Make Say Think, and others, but those are more my Mum's bands. And besides there's no point. @Jacqui I don't like 98% of the DM I hear. Rings are interesting because of all the doodling, and they have melody, which is key for me (same reason I loathe black metal, grindcore, noise/drone and chord-a-minute post-rock).

Not one chord stood out, or a vocal line, or a melody. Nothing. They literally were interchangeable: same slightly-off-key, whinemotional singers, same plinkity-plonkity piano, same acoustic strumming, same string samples, same EVERYTHING. So it's not that I didn't try, it's just that I didn't like what I heard. So why go on trying to pretend I do, y'know?
