04.08.13 | Encircling Sea is atmospheric black metal. Nothing like what you're thinking. Much easier on the ears than Antestor or Horde, who play raw BM albeit while preaching gospel. Agalloch is a combination of black metal/doom meal/folk... it's pretty rare that someone hears Agalloch and dislikes them. Check Ashes Against the Grain if you feel up to it. The other two are really good post-metal albums. All worth hearing. |
