My Top 50 Coheed And Cambria Songs
This is my attempt at my top 50 Coheed and Cambria rsongs. A lot of these rsongs are very close together and are bound to rswitch around daily, but roverall I think I got it pretty accurately. rRemember this is opinion, please rshare yours as well! |
1 | Coheed and Cambria The Light & The Glass
Epic song. "Pray for us all!" |
2 | Key Entity Extraction I: Domino the Destitute
This entire suite of songs is fantastic, and Domino grew on me quickly and has
turned into one of my all time favorites! |
3 | In Keeping Secrets of the Silent Earth: 3
I gained a new appreciation for this song after seeing these guys live. Gives me
chills sometimes when I get really into it. |
4 | Welcome Home
It's not often that a band's most popular song is ACTUALLY one of their best
songs!
This definitely deserves it. |
5 | The Crowing
Fan favorite, and for good reason. |
6 | No World For Tomorrow
Love the forcefulness of this song. |
7 | Key Entity Extraction IV: Evagria the Faithful
Not many people love this song the way I do. Groovy, poppy, catchy. Just a great
song. |
8 | Gravity's
This song caught my attention immediately. That final stretch of the song is one
of
the greatest C&C moments of all time. |
9 | The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut
This would probably be higher if the album version was longer, and they didn't
have
the Led Zeppelin tribute at the end. One of my favorite songs to sing along
with. |
10 | Apollo I: The Writing Writer
This is another song I think is sort of unappreciated. |
11 | Key Entity Extraction V: Sentry the Defiant
Been a long time coming. Claudio is one of the best musicians out there. |
12 | In the Flame of Error
People don't tend to like the melodramatic feeling of The Black Rainbow, but I
don't
mind it, and this is one of my favorite songs. |
13 | This Shattered Symphony
Similar to the Flame of Error |
14 | Mother Superior
This one grew on me over time. |
15 | The Hard Sell
This got me excited for Descension when they released this on Youtube. Kind of
weak lyrics, but I enjoy it nonetheless. |
16 | The Afterman
Just a beautiful song, goes perfectly after Domino. |
17 | The Suffering |
18 | The Willing Well II: Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
The Willing Well suite may be one the greatest musical accomplishments. |
19 | Delirium Trigger
Another song with a fantastic ending. May deserve a higher ranking actually, but
I'm too lazy to change it now. |
20 | The Hound (Of Blood and Rank)
Can really hear the Rush influence in this song. |
21 | Feathers |
22 | Goodnight, Fair Lady
First time I heard this, brought me back to the first Good Apollo. |
23 | The Willing Well I: Fuel for the Feeding End
Probably the hardest Willing Well to get into, but once you do, you're addicted.
At
least I was for a long time. |
24 | 2113
This song is definitely strange, but I love it. |
25 | Key Entity Extraction III: Vic The Butcher
This is where stuff kind of gets mixed up, not sure what order to put a lot of
this
stuff. |
26 | Time Consumer
I was absolutely obsessed with this song for a long time, probably deserves a
higher ranking. |
27 | The Broken |
28 | World of Lines |
29 | Velorium Camper II: Backend of Forever
Velorium Camper II and III are fantastic. |
30 | Velorium Camper III: Al The Killer |
31 | The End Complete III: The End Complete
The End Complete is easily C&C's worst song suite, but I fell in love with this
one. |
32 | Hearshot Kid Disaster
I've been loving this one a lot lately. |
33 | God Send Conspirator |
34 | A Favor House Atlantic
Good eye, sniper! |
35 | Neverender
Another one that probably deserves a higher ranking now that I think about it. |
36 | Everything Evil
Probably the most loved song on the debut album, and I really don't understand
why.
Don't get me wrong it's a great song, but I much prefer a lot of the other songs
on this
album. |
37 | Once Upon Your Dead Body
Upbeat song with morbid lyrics, that's Coheed for you. |
38 | Dark Side of Me
Sirius, is this what love is? ... Yes. |
39 | Far
This and Dark Side of Me are actually similar. |
40 | Number City
Really don't understand the raving about this song. It's a good song, but people
are
saying it's easily the best song on The Afterman albums, I don't think it's even
close. Still
a great song though. |
41 | Made Out of Nothing |
42 | The Willing Well III: Apollo II: The Telling Truth
Weakest of the Willing Well, Apollo I is better. |
43 | Gravemakers and Gunslingers
I think this is Coheed and Cambria's favorite song or something, they really
seem to like
pimping it out. |
44 | Here We Are Juggernaught
Another song that I don't understand why it's the most popular on the album. |
45 | Mother of Men |
46 | Iron Fist
A lot of people didn't like the album version of this because of the drums and
whatnot,
I don't mind it, I enjoy the acoustic and the album version. |
47 | Crossing the Frame
I love the chorus of this song. |
48 | Blood Red Summer
I almost feel bad for putting this so low, it embodies C&C almost perfectly. |
49 | Pretelethal
This was the opener to the concert I went to. This song just a has an odd
mystique to it. I love it. |
50 | The Running Free
I was really torn on what to put here. Junesong Provision, Holly Wood, Three
Evils.
Kind of randomly went with this. |
