Albums I'm thinking of reviewing. Please tell me which one(s) I should do.
1Black Sabbath
Paranoid

One of my favorite albums. Dark lyrics, punchy bass, loud guitar riffs, superb drumming. What more can you ask from a metal band? Well Paranoid also offers bluesy guitar passages, groovy bass lines and whaling vocals. I'll be rating this a 5.
2Destroy the Runner
Saints

When I first heard this band I was a metal noob and thought metalcore was the best thing since tap water. Now I realise its mediocrity with repetitve song structures, an inaudible bass, overusage of bad breakdowns and boring drumming. Despite a few tracks that counter this, all that Saints has going for it are catchy guitar hooks and somewhat interesting vocals. I'll be giving this a 2.5
3Matthew Good
Hospital Music

My favorite album of 2007 and for good reason. The record shows a variety of emotions ranging from dark/depressing to quite joyful and relaxed. This not only displayed through his music but through his vocals and lyrics aswell. Despite being a very bare sounding album, as most songs include Good and his Acoustic guitar, the album resists from being dry and every track has something worthwhile (even the 54 second quicky I Am Not Safer than a Bank). I'm rating this a 5.
4Metallica
ReLoad

Ya, Metallica sold out but does this mean ReLoad is somehow unenjoyable? Nope. The record is suprisingly equal of quality throughout. A few guitar solos are present, James' vocals are quite nice to listen to. Though the album is dry in a few parts, most notably on "Better than You", also the lyrical content is a bit off at times. I'll give this a 3.
