CamGrovesfan 04.02.13	Well it's not that i dislike Black Gives Way To Blue, three of the songs on it are great; Your Desicion, When The Sun Rose Again, and the title track. they actually sound like Alice. The rest just sounds weird, out of place, and Mr. Duvall is not a good replacement for the best singer ever.

StallionMang 04.02.13	Yeah, I see what you're saying. I actually think Duvall's a pretty good replacement, but I just see the new AIC sound as very generic alt-metal. And I actually do agree that s/t and Jar Of Flies sound a lot more, I don't know, genuine I guess. There's just no denying the quality of the songwriting in Dirt.
CamGrovesfan 04.02.13	Well theres another point you raised there, about the songwriting. Another reason I like s/t and jar of flies more is because Layne had so much more of an input in those two than he did in Dirt, and he's my all time favourite lyricist so thats a key thing to me
