Metallica's Albums Ranked
1Metallica
...And Justice For All

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Absolute masterpiece. Not a bad song on it,
the quality is great (except for the bass for some reason being turned SO low), has some of
the best riffs ever, and Lars Ulrich has some badass moments. Love the tone of this album,
and it will forever be one of my favorite albums.
2Metallica
Master of Puppets

This album is another classic. Again not a bad song on here, but I just don't LOVE every song
the way I do with "...And Justice For All". Master of Puppets may be Metallica's best song,
and Orion is right up there with it. Leper Messiah is underrated.
3Metallica
Ride The Lightning

This album is great too, but not quite on the level of MOP and AJFA. Fade to Black is one of
my favorite songs, and Creeping Death is a thrash classic. This album tends to still have
that sound left over from Kill 'Em All that I'm not a particular fan of, but this is a great
album nonetheless.
4Metallica
Death Magnetic

Now I know I may get crapped on for this, but I think this album is just as good as Ride
The Lightning. It may have some of the worst production ever, but the quality of
songs on this album are as good as Metallica has ever written. All Nightmare Long is
amazing and on the level of any Metallica song. Although I must say The Judas Kiss
and Cyanide are hard to listen to, the rest of the album is great and I don't care what
anyone else thinks!
5Metallica
Metallica

This is when people started to cry because Metallica was going mainstream. I still enjoy
this album even with its massive change in sound. The songs are much more simple than
in albums before, but I like the tone. A good album overall, despite some really, really
weak tracks.
6Metallica
Kill 'Em All

Interchangeable with "Metallica" in my opinion. This style is just not my cup of tea. I can
appreciate the beginnings of a classic band, and even recognize how good some of these
songs are, but overall this album just doesn't stick out to me. The Four Horsemen may be
top ten in all of Metallica's songs, but other than that I just don't feel intrigued by this
album the way a lot of fans are. Not a bad album, just not for me really.
7Metallica
Reload

Who even cares about these last three albums. This is only here because of Fixxxer and
The Unforgiven II.
8Metallica
Load

Dude, just... ugh
9Metallica
St. Anger

I actually like the title track...
