| Deftones Live At Jannus Landing 3/21/13
So I saw Deftones last night for the second time while they are on their
current tour for Koi No Yokan. Periphery opened, and wow were they
good live. They played mostly stuff off of the new record and threw in
Jetpacks and Icarus. Spencer is fantastic live and the three guitars
actually sounded pretty great live. Deftones opened with Rosemary
which was amazing and they played a lot of Koi and Diamond Eyes
material. They also played Minerva AND Bloody Cape back to back which
was the highlight of the show. The encore consisted of 4 tracks, all from
Adrenaline, which included Bored and Root. Chino sounded a bit off
though, his singing was better last time I saw them and he sounded a bit
winded at times but his screams were epic. Overall, a great show with a
great set. | |
