intotheshit 03.19.13	No, what cost the C's the win was poor defense(specifically Jeff green and Crawford) and terrible play calling by Doc Rivers. That play call at the end was some of the worst coaching I have ever seen.

toxin. 03.19.13	he's obviously a superb shooter (and laker fans are the first to thank him for his performance in the finals after that one game where he set the record!) but i was never sold on him being a leader in the same vein as pierce and especially kg i could never see kg or pierce signing straight to the defending nba champions led by the player with whom they had the biggest rivalry for the past 4 years and i guess that's partially why i don't like him.

Why go back to a team that doesn't seem to want you in the first place? Not only that, why not go to their rival and stick it to them for treating you like shit after you helped win them their first title in 20 years?

You can see it as the C's organization treating him like shit and then Allen going to the best suitor. I just see it as a guy who's whining that he didn't start happily coming off the bench for his archenemy's team. He seems a bit entitled that he wasn't being looked at like the 31 year old shooting phenom with still years ahead of him. I guess it's difference of opinion. As someone who watched a player who at the time was better than Allen now (Lamar Odom in his prime) go from being 2nd option on the Lakers to happily coming off the bench for a championship team, his attitude comes off as totally self-interest. If it's really about something as egotistical "feeling wanted" then I'm fucking surprised someone like KG would want him back.

Still, I would imagine not being happy with him if he signed directly with the Lakers' rival (though I don't know if they have one anymore... maybe still the Celtics?). Even if he hated the administration, it seems a bit disrespectful to your teammates? I dunno

intotheshit 03.19.13	If you go by stats, the only thing Odom has on Allen is BPG and RPG. Everything else is either identical or Allen has him beat.
