Congrats, Sputnik Promotees!!!

Many congratulations to the new staff members and contributors. Here's a round of applause for you, and a list of five albums I recommend to all you beautiful bitches and hideous turd-monglers out there.
1The Psyke Project

This album came out before the spawn of their down-tuned sludge days (post-Apnea era). A straight-up oldschool-style metalcore release. Some may find it lacking in diversity, but it's still a solid 4.
2Pierre Esteve
Atlantis 2: Beyond Atlantis Soundtrack

This is hands down my favorite album at the moment. A truly perfect video game score if there ever was one. This diverse score covers areas such as dark / celtic folk, melodic / experimental ambient, and tribal music. In other words, if one enjoys interesting and diverse, relaxing music they NEED this (those people could skip "The White Horse")
3Love Sex Machine
Love Sex Machine

Slow, masturbatory sludge / hardcore. The band describes it as "songs about love."
4Until June
Young and Foolish

For fans of any of the cheery, poppy alt rock bands that don't suck. I really don't remember how I found these guys, but I don't regret this discovery and it's safe to say MORE PEOPLE NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS
Say Us

This was interesting, to say the least. It definitely deserves a listen from alt / indie fans who like the oldschool fun similar to the likes of what Foxygen has to offer
