05.17.13 | Have you heard of Kassem Mosse? His music is all over the place, but most generally it's a kind of deep house/minimal techno - very, very good. I'd recommend "Workshop 08" (and the rest of the label's output, especially the Lowtec EPs).
Obviously F.U.S.E. is also essential, as it's a project of Richie Hawtin's. While we're on the subject: get the Concept 1 compilation (another RH project) called "96:01-96:12." Super minimal techno; it's a collection of singles he released over the course of a year and is absolutely unbeatable (though it's hard to sit through all 3 hours).
Other stuff DeafMetal recommended is worth your time, too: British Murder Boys, Surgeon, Vatican Shadow, Silent Servant, Pete Swanson. |
