Atari 02.14.13	@Ecnalzen, I think you'd really enoy Pianos become the teeth. It's the closest thing on the list to being post hardcore but i guess it's labeled post rock/emo/hardcore. Whatever it is, it fucking rules.
Ecnalzen 02.14.13	Musically, I was good to go for that. I am not a fan of that style of vocals (pretty sure its considered screamo) though. If you like that, you might give Gospel a try if you haven't heard them yet.
Atari 02.14.13	will do. the vocals on pianos become the teeth are actually pretty chill though. listen to the song 'i'll get by' it's amazing.
Ecnalzen 02.14.13	I listened to the first two songs and I wasn't really enjoying his yell/scream or whatever you want to call it. It reminded me of how the Gospel vocalist sounded. I have never been able to get into stuff that is actually considered emo and/or screamo. The vocals always turn me off.

Ecnalzen 02.14.13	Yeah... I am weird like that. Vocals can really break a band for me, even if I like the music they make. It sucks. I have only been able to get around a few bands that I initially didn't like the vocals by. Senses Fail, Coheed & Cambria and Bayside are the few that have broken through.
Atari 02.14.13	idk it's just funny cause imo silverstein's vocals are emo as fuck and you like them ;) . but i guess i'm just not as picky about vocals.
Ecnalzen 02.15.13	Yeah, I think his cleans sound kind of sucky, but his scream makes up for it. This is another band that has a similar vibe vocally to these guys and is considered emo/post hardcore. I tried them out and just could not get into the vocals. http://wewereskeletons.bandcamp.com/
