tastepolice 12.28.17	darkthrone are about the most false band in the world at this point they've taken the "we don't give a fuck" shtick to an absolute extreme and have been rolling with it for decades at this point good for them if they want to be minimum effort and do things at their leisure but no one has to give a shit about them either and for a band with such an attitude they (fenriz specifically) sure spend a lot of time advertising themselves and their character at any given chance contrast this with someone like mikko who makes (even more) uncompromising and brutal music, doesn't follow trends, doesn't soften up for anyone's convenience but doesn't make a circus of himself either, popping his head into the mainstream constantly to remind people how important he is, despite being hundreds of times more important than darkthrone in contemporary scene major respect to darkthrone for their early masterpieces but they are a joke now
