auberginedreams 01.24.13	the problem with fen is that they have a lot of really cool parts in their music but listening to several songs in a row gets really tiresome, their songwriting could be a little tighter.

auberginedreams 01.24.13	the new autumn for crippled children album is really good, they've improved. and coldworld is good too but the vocals suck, or at least the way they're recorded sucks. they sound really thin and tiny but other than that i like it.
auberginedreams 01.24.13	the vocals on some songs are good like on dream of a dead sun, but the vocal production is crap on others like tortured by solitude which sucks because that's otherwise one of the best songs.

Wolfhorde 01.25.13	lol, none of these are "trvekvlt". it's mostly just some "standard atmospheric" stuff as Yankee said and some more local stuff that's still pretty sweet. Also, they actually cover a range of BM. And heh, if you already like lantlos/WITTR - so why shouldn't you like other more "melodic"/atmospheric BM?

Listening to what other people say on this behalf is always half-assed. I can give you more specific albums if you want as some have quite some progression throughout their careers as nocte obducta and TRoB.

I like some of the rawer shit but I just feel the extra atmosphere really adds a whole nother element that makes bm unique. Plus the raw stuff is basically just rehashing the same ideas from 94 over and over in an effort to stay "kvit" or whatever the fuck. They're totally different styles though and good for different moods.
